Home & Office Removals
Returning to Turkey from Sweden, or settling in Sweden from Turkey? LUNVAX moves your home and office belongings door to door, with our own team and fleet, and we handle the customs declarations for you. If you're only moving used household goods, the Turkish consulate in Stockholm asks for one supporting document: a personbevis from Skatteverket. Here's how it fits together.

Leaving Sweden: Tell Skatteverket at Least a Week Ahead
If you're registered in Sweden and plan to live abroad for a year or more, you must report your move to Skatteverket, the Swedish Tax Agency. Skatteverket asks you to do this no later than one week before you move. The form for this is SKV 7665.
The rule also applies if you first leave for a shorter time and your plans then grow longer. As soon as your moving date is fixed, add the Skatteverket notice to your calendar. The documents you get from Skatteverket will also be useful for your application at the Turkish consulate.
Only Moving Household Goods? A Personbevis Is Enough
For duty-free household goods at Turkish customs, you need an ikamet nakil belgesi (residence transfer certificate). In Sweden, you apply for it at the Consular Section of the Turkish Embassy in Stockholm. According to the Consular Section's application guidance, a personbevis (population registration certificate) from Skatteverket is enough when you're moving goods. It must show since when you have been living abroad.
The Consular Section also states that no other documents are needed if you're only moving used household goods. You apply in person, with an appointment booked at konsolosluk.gov.tr. At Turkish customs, you'll then show the ikamet nakil belgesi together with a vukuatlı nüfus kayıt örneği (full civil registry record) and your list of goods. To qualify, you must have lived abroad for at least 24 months.
Moving from Turkey to Sweden: What Tullverket Asks
Moving from Turkey to Sweden? You can apply for relief from customs duty and VAT on your household goods. According to Tullverket, Swedish Customs, there are two basic conditions. You must have had your normal residence outside the European Union for at least one continuous year. And you must be settling in Sweden to live here for at least one year. Goods brought in under this relief must not be sold, hired out, lent, given away or pledged during the first year.
Tullverket also asks that you have owned and used the goods for at least six months before the move, and that you bring them in within one year of settling in Sweden.
