Shipping typically takes 17-30 days port-to-port by container vessel, plus roughly 1-3 weeks for customs clearance and inland delivery — so door-to-door timing is generally 5-10 weeks. Actual timing depends on port and shipping-line schedules and on customs processing, which is outside our control.

No — vehicle age rules differ sharply by direction and are set by government authorities, not LUNVAX. From Turkey to the USA, federal rules generally require the vehicle to be at least 25 years old to qualify for the standard exemption from U.S. safety and emissions compliance; newer vehicles typically require costly compliance modifications and separate EPA/DOT approval, which is often impractical. From the USA to Turkey, duty-free import is only available for vehicles under 3 years old brought by someone with confirmed definitive-return (kesin dönüş) status in Turkey; every other vehicle needs an individual vehicle approval process on the Turkish side. Tell us your vehicle's age and direction before booking and we will be upfront about whether it is realistic.

No. LUNVAX manages the ocean freight booking, insurance and tracking of your vehicle. Customs clearance, import duties and taxes (including ÖTV, which rises for larger engines such as V6 or V8 on the Turkish side) and any required individual vehicle approval process are your responsibility or your customs broker's. We recommend engaging a licensed customs broker before you book.
