Vehicle Transport Turkey ↔ Canada
LUNVAX manages the ocean transport, insurance and tracking of your vehicle between Canada and Turkey — door-to-door in roughly 5-10 weeks, a different and longer process than our European routes. Customs clearance, import duties and vehicle admissibility rules are handled by you or your customs broker, not by LUNVAX.
⚠️ Vehicle age restrictions apply in both directions, and customs/duties are not part of our service — see the FAQ below before you book.
Canada ↔ Turkey Route
Canada → Turkey
We collect your vehicle in Canada and ship it by ocean freight to Turkey. Duty-free import is available only for vehicles under 3 years old brought under confirmed definitive-return (kesin dönüş) status — every other vehicle needs an individual vehicle approval process on the Turkish side, which we do not handle.
Turkey → Canada
We also ship vehicles from Turkey to Canada. Canadian rules generally require the vehicle to be at least 15 years old, or newly certified under Transport Canada's Foreign Buyer program — check the FAQ below before booking.
Ocean Freight, Fully Insured
Your vehicle travels in a fully enclosed shipping container, not an open Ro-Ro deck, with insurance coverage for the ocean transit portion of the journey.
Logistics vs. Customs — Who Handles What
Vehicle transport between Turkey and North America works differently from our European routes, and we want you to know exactly where our job ends before you book.
What LUNVAX Handles
Ocean freight booking, insurance coverage during transit, vehicle condition documentation, and status updates via WhatsApp from pickup to the arrival port.
What You (or Your Customs Broker) Handle
Vehicle age and admissibility rules, customs declarations, import duties and taxes, and — where required — the individual vehicle approval process on the Turkish side. We do not provide customs or tax advice.

Canada and the Turkey Connection
Toronto, Canada's largest city and the capital of Ontario, sits on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario and anchors LUNVAX's Canadian route today. It is also home to one of Canada's largest Turkish communities: over 18,000 residents of the Toronto area were born in Turkey, according to Statistics Canada's 2021 Census place-of-birth data. We also receive requests from Montreal, Quebec's largest city and Canada's main French-speaking hub, and from other Canadian cities — get in touch to check your route. Regular visits home, family relocations and permanent returns create steady demand for reliable vehicle transport between Canada and Turkey, which is why we treat the regulatory realities on both sides as something to explain upfront, not gloss over.
