Kapıkule Express carries your car from your door in Europe to the Kapıkule border crossing. On the way back it takes the car from Kapıkule to your door in Europe. Each direction takes 36 hours, counted from pickup to handover. Outbound, we hand the car over at Kapıkule before the border crossing. You drive across the border yourself.

Outbound: from your door in Europe to Kapıkule
We collect the car at your address in Europe. When we take it, we write down its condition. It then travels insured on a car carrier to Kapıkule. We agree on pickup place and time with you on WhatsApp.
During the trip you follow the live location in WhatsApp. At Kapıkule we give you the car before the border crossing and put the handover in writing. We settle the exact meeting point beforehand.
From there the road is yours. As the owner, you drive the car through the border. We do not cross it. Kapıkule, also spelled Kapikule, is near Edirne. Its Bulgarian counterpart is called Kapitan Andreevo.
Do you need the car at an address in Turkey instead? Look at express vehicle shipping or standard car transport. Outbound, Kapıkule Express does not deliver to a street address.
Return leg: from Kapıkule to your door in Europe
The way home is part of the same product. We take the car over at Kapıkule and deliver it to your door in Europe. The clock is the same: 36 hours from takeover to handover at your address. A standard car keeps the same price, and other vehicles get a quote.
We note the condition at takeover, share the live location on the road, and sign a written handover record at your door. Meeting point at Kapıkule and delivery address in Europe are fixed in advance. Customs formalities stay outside our scope on this leg too.
Come on holiday with your car, go home with us
Someone spending a holiday in Turkey often wants their own car there. Driving the whole distance is another matter. So you can use Kapıkule Express in two stages.
At the start of the holiday we carry the car to Kapıkule and you drive on from there. When the holiday ends, you give the car back to us at Kapıkule. We take it to your door in Europe.

How the 36 hours are counted
- Message us. Send the model, the direction and where the car is. WhatsApp and phone both work.
- Get your price. A standard car has a set price. Every other vehicle gets a personal quote.
- Takeover. We collect the car and note its condition. The 36 hours start here.
- On the road. The car rides on the carrier, and you see its location live.
- Handover. We hand the car over and sign the written record. The clock stops.
Time spent on the quote and on agreeing a date comes before the clock starts.
Price and quote
A standard car costs €1,200 with Kapıkule Express, in either direction. We do not quote a flat price for these vehicles:
- SUVs
- Large or heavy vehicles
- Luxury and high-value cars
Each of these gets a look of its own. Message us the model, the direction, the location and your preferred date. Ask the quote what the price includes, and get the answer in writing.
The border is yours to drive: customs
At the border you are the driver. Entry into Turkey and customs formalities are yours as the owner, or those of a broker you choose. LUNVAX is not a customs broker.
Turkey's Ministry of Trade covers the subject under "Accompanied Vehicles". Its English FAQ, dated 18 May 2026, says that "persons who are resident in a territory other than Turkey can temporarily import their vehicles for private use registered in their country of residence."
